The strongest effect comes from the products we sell and the way those products are used. We want to contribute to a more sustainable development by helping our customers to realise a more sustainable lifestyle in the kitchen. Sustainability is therefore a central topic in product innovation and product development.

Our goal is to strengthen supplier relationships through joint cooperation, to ensure the highest quality standards, and to form a sustainable supply chain. We conduct systematic supplier audits to avoid social, environmental and ethical risks in the procurement process and to provide suppliers with incentives to improve their sustainability work.

Sustainability & material selection

Wood is the main component of our products. Most of our timber suppliers are located in Europe and they all have to comply with the EU Timber Regulation and our group-wide forestry regulations. It is also important to us to increase the proportion of wood from environmentally friendly and socially acceptable sources.

Healthy, safety & environment

Our production process is guided by a focused lean methodology and includes systematic environmental, health and safety work to prevent workplace accidents, reduce electricity consumption and raw material usage, limit the use of hazardous chemicals and reduce pollutants and waste.
